Grant Application

Dear Mr. Money Bags, 

Having been accepted into Humber College in 2019 to pursue a Bachelor of Public Relations program, I have learned and developed skills as a competitive PR student among my peers.

Now, a third-year student in the program, I am excited to get an opportunity to apply for the grant you’re providing to Canadian students. I am confident that it will support me now and help me invest in my future education and life.

I have an average of 76.4, and I do well with my writing and communications courses. On the other hand, I’m active in school as an orientation leader and First-Year Experience (FYE) peer mentor. Furthermore, I’m the social media manager for this year’s Canadian Public Relations Society (CPRS) Toronto Student Steering Committee (SSC).

The grant will certainly help remove my current financial stress, from paying for student debt to buying textbooks, other necessary items for school work and personal items.

Moreover, I’ll be able to invest in the Master’s program that I wish to pursue soon after my graduation. I always wanted to continue my higher-level education, soo I plan to take the Masters of Communications Management program at McMaster University.

During the pandemic, I learned relevant new skills like social media, storytelling and marketing. I started painting and sketching again to calm my mind in the creative sense.
